services, you’ll notice that you have a temporary
credit limit. We understand that most of our customers won’t
like having to have this credit limit, but like every business,
we do sometimes have customers who do not pay their bills.
Unlike many other companies, IBNtel don’t turn you
away if you have a less-than-perfect credit rating, so this
temporary credit limit is one of the things that allow us
to offer you quality customer service and great rates for
long distance services. Instead of increasing the cost of
our calling rates or lowering the quality of our service
to cover the cost of those people who don’t pay their
bill, we impose this credit limit so that we can continue
to provide high quality low-cost long distance services
to all of our customers.
For the first three months after you sign up with IBNtel,
you’ll have a credit limit of $25 on the first registered
phone on your account. Each additional registered phone
will have a $10 credit limit. Getting your credit limit
increased is easy, and you don’t have to do anything
special – just pay your bill on time and it’ll
happen automatically. Once you’ve paid your bill on
time for three months, your credit limit will be increased.
You can increase your credit limit before this three month
period by prepaying on your account, or by paying a security
deposit.
